Temple Church, London

Built by the Knights Templar, the order of crusading monks. The church is in two parts, The Round and the Chancel. The Round Church was consecrated in 1185, its circular design is reminiscent of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre at Jerusalem. Restored by Wren after 1666 and again after the war. It is now the church of the two Inns of Court, Inner and Middle Temple.
